Border Defense Wars are held in 6 different categories:
There are different number of events per day in different versions. In KOLATIN there are 3 BDW events per day.
When the time comes, a small window will appear on your screen. Click on the "Join" button in the window to sign up. After a 10-minute countdown, parties are teleported into instanced dungeons one by one, starting from the low levels. This means that the high levels might have to wait 20 minutes before being teleported in. The system selects the users randomly (it doesn't count if you click first on the register popup, you have the chance of not joining to the BDW despite of being one of the first on the "Join" process)
It's possible to win the Border Defense War in two ways. First, you can capture the center monument by right-clicking on it, and holding it for a certain time will result in winning. Second, the first team to score 50 points (levels 20~57) or 80 points (levels 58~70) wins. If there's no winner after 30 minutes, the winner is determined by the amount of points gained.
The rewards for the event are EXP based on your score in the war, Red Treasure Chest and Border Security Scroll
